Birds Eye View Film Festival

"an important celebration of women filmmakers" - The Independent
"pushes the boundaries" - Tracey Emin

The Birds Eye View Film Festival was launched in 2005 as a positive and creative response to the fact that only 7% of film directors are women. Now in its third year, the festival opened on International Women's Day (March 8th) at the National Film Theatre, followed by 6 days of international docs, shorts, features and special cross-arts events at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, London. Birds Eye View patrons include: Anthony Minghella, Joanna Lumley, Mike Figgis and Juliet Stevenson.
