Nathalie… is an understated tale of sexual intrigue and manipulation in which gynaecologist Ardant pays sex-club hostess Beart (as Nathalie) to have an affair with her errant husband Depardieu and then recount the experiences to her afterwards. She begins to lose control over Nathalie's actions however and starts wondering who is deceiving whom.  Anne Fontaine’s eighth feature film sets a tantalising and unpredictable erotic tale, in which intense performances match Michael Nyman’s nearly hypnotic score.
