One of the most important people who ever graced and shaped the British folk scene, Peggy Seeger is probably best known for her songs that concentrate on feminist and ecological issues  Gonna Be an Engineer became an anthem for the UK’s women’s movement in the 1970s, while The Ballad of Springhill, is rapidly becoming regarded as a traditional.  A strong, creative and insightful woman making a rare visit to the country she lived in for 35 years.
