Mrs Barbara Nice hosts an all-funny all-female Barrel of Laughs
With Perrier nominated Sarah Kendall and Jo Enright, voted Jongleurs Female Act of the Year

Mrs Barbara Nice is the comedy creation of Janice Connolly. Barbara is your average Stockport housewife who, having given up the domestic bliss of Tupperware and Poundstretcher, shops for the unpredictabilty of the comedy world. No audience is too rowdy for her to handle - she's already raised five teenagers. Having recently supported both Johnny Vegas and Peter Kay, Barbara is now a circuit headline act in her own right, as well as being one of the most experienced comperes in the country.

Janice Connolly is an actress, writer, director and standup comedien. She is the artistic director of Birmingham Based Women and Theatre -now in its 24th year. The company uses high quality drama and new theatre to encourage social change. Janice played barmaid Holy Mary in Channel 4`s "Peter Kay`s Phoenix Nights" and is a successful comic in her own right with her comedy creation Mrs. Barbara Nice -housewife and mother. Janice was nominated as a creative Briton- she has two children.
