Deconstruction of a Human Heart

Dr Pam Johnston is one of the most significant Aboriginal Australian contemporary artists.  On her second visit to The Brewery, she will be showing a new body of work as part of the festival that has been specially created for the Sugar Store Gallery.  As well as being an indigenous artist who has exhibited in Australia, Europe and the US, Dr Johnston also writes extensively within the fields of education and cultural theory, particularly post-colonial theory.

This is a great opportunity to work with Pam Johnson, one of the most significant Aboriginal Australian contemporary artists, whose work will be exhibited in the Sugar store during the festival.  You will be inspired by her work and learn how to tell your own story using traditional painting and drawing techniques.
